A Hut8 Techtorial: Cisco Adaptive Security Appliance (ASA) Split Tunneling

***I am pretty sure I forgot to mention the ACL required for the port forwarding setup – you would configure this in the inbound direction on the outside interface to allow the Internet traffic to reach your server***

In this, our FINAL module, Module 011, we take a look at how to configure split tunneling and port forwarding on the Cisco ASA firewall. We examine the use cases for punching a hole in the firewall with an ACL, using your VPN, or setting up port forwarding and when you might want to use each. We also look at split tunneling configuration for the use case of when you might want to be able to VPN in to your network, but also be allowed access to the Internet. Enjoy!
