CCNAv7 – Enterprise Networking, Security, & Automation (ESNA) – Packet Tracer 10.6.10: Backup Config

In this comprehensive and exhaustive techtorial on Packet Tracer activity 10.6.10 (Backup Configuration Files), we take a look at how to restore from a backup file on a TFTP server, how to modify that file, and how to place a copy of the modified file back onto the TFTP server. We then backup up the IOS image from the router to the TFTP server. Finally, I show you how to use the ‘configure replace’ command to restore a locally (read: on the router) configuration file to the router. Enjoy!

*This techtorial/Packet Tracer activity is all done running Packet Tracer version 7.3.1 (for the Mac) which was recently released! The MINIMUM version you can use for any of the new CCNAv7 curriculum activities is Packet Tracer v7.3.0! Be sure to leave your feedback and questions below and I hope I have earned the privilege of your time!
