In this video tutorial I will show you all the components and steps required to build your own lightboard and you can do this all for right around $150! As an educator, I was looking for a new way to present some networking material in my video tutorials and the lightboard was a perfect fit. I would recommend a 1/2-inch thick piece of plexiglass (I used a 1/4-inch and, while it worked, it seems a bit thin) and I would definitely use some very sturdy brackets.
