AACC – Spring 2023 – CTS-233-400 – DEVASC 200-901: Lab 8.3.7 – Use RESTCONF to Access a Cisco IOS XE Device (Parts #1 – #5)

In this tutorial video, we dive head first into the RESTful Network Configuration Protocol (RESTCONF) and Lab 8.3.7 Parts #1 – #5 where we start out by preparing our CSR1kv for use with RESTCONF by spinning up the secure HTTPS server, setting authentication to use the local AAA database, and then we go to Postman to configure multiple GET and PUT requests interfacing with the router using JSON data. We get a list of all interfaces, change the GigabitEthernet1 interface from a DHCP address to a static address and see how RESTCONF can be leveraged to configure and manage an IOS XE device. Enjoy!
