In this tutorial video, we take our first look at Yet Another Next Generation (YANG) data modeling language that is the foundation for model-driven programmability and we do it through the lens of Lab 8.3.5. We explore YANG resources on GitHub, we then install and use pyang to produce a tree-based output representing the YANG data model and go over the different components like the container, list, and leaf and give multiple examples of how each of those components is represented in our output.
