In this tutorial we tackle the supplemental Spanning Tree activity where you were asked to identify the Root Bridge, the Designated Ports (DP), Root Ports (RP), and Alternate (ALT)/Blocking ports in two (2) different Layer 2 topologies. We go over what makes up the Bridge ID (BID) and discuss a sure-fire order of operations to make sure you correctly navigate your way through any Spanning Tree topology. Enjoy!
