Week #3 of my UMGC CMIT-455 (ENCORv8) course ‘Sunday Zoom Session’ was all about the Border Gateway Protocol (BGP)! We kicked off the session with a quick Kahoot Challenge, followed by some discussion of creating EtherChannels, and then transitioned into Cisco’s CML2 network simulator where we worked through OSPF totally stub, eBGP, NAT, and other configuration tasks related to our inter-office communication! This was a tour de force on setting up eBGP neighbors and manipulating the Cisco ‘weight’ attribute to control the egress flow of traffic from our networks out to the Internet! Enjoy!
