In this video, we take a look at Lab 6.2.7 Part #2 and how to build a simple BASH script in preparation for a much larger script that we will build to actually create a Dockerfile. We go over the semantics of script execution with the execute bit both set and unset and see how you can ‘source’ or run the file without the execute bit set and without the ‘.sh’ filename extension.
