In this video, we now start our journey by exploring REST APIs using our DEVASC Virtual Machine (VM) Student Library API in Lab 4.5.5 – Part #2. We familiarize ourselves with the Student Library API, examine GET, PUT, and DELETE requests, generate an X-API-TOKEN and see the different parts of a RESTFUL API request like the scheme/authority/path/query and break them down both in the Student API library and in the MapQuest API documentation.
